Jane Arthur won the 2020 Jessie Mackay Award (Best First Book) for her debut poetry collection, Craven (VUP, 2019), at the 2020 Ockham NZ Book Awards. She completed her MA at the IIML in 2015, and currently co-owns and manages a small bookshop in Te Aro, Wellington.
