ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Nkhaya Paulsen-More (Ngāti Maru (Hauraki), Ngāruahine, Ngāti Pūkenga) is a Wellington-based writer, although she has lived in Dunedin, Auckland, and Cape Town, South Africa in the past. ‘Third Culture Kid’ is from a larger collection of essays she’s developed as a part of her MA thesis at the IIML. The collection, titled Distance Education, explores the cultural complexities of growing up Māori-South-African in the digital age.
